What I was feeling when I cheated in my Gold tournament...

Yes, I cheated.  No, I am not ashamed.  Why should I be.  Im a great at golfing, what's a little cheating going to do.  Who cares if I get caught, that just means that people will be talking about me.  I will be on everyone's mind.  That is exactly what I want.  Isn't that what we all want, we all want to be known.  We want to be talked about.  We want to be the center of attention.  Well, at least that is what I want.  I cheated to get ahead.  If your not willing to cheat, they don't play the game.  Losing is boring and embarrassing, so why not cheat and win like me.  My life will never be boring.  I will always be ahead, because I am willing to do what it takes.  So, the answer to your question is, No, I am not sorry for cheating and yes I will probably do it again.  because I will be ahead.  I will win. I will have an exciting life.  And if people find out, that is all the better.  I want to be the topic of everyone's conversation.  I want my name to be known.  You can do as you please, but I will do what is best for me.  I don't care what I have to do or who I have to step on in the process.  I am sorry if I offend you, but it is not your life.  I will do as I please with my life.  Please do not try to stop me, and do not try to be better than me.  You will only fail.  I will not lose, I will not be forgotten, I will not be embarrassed.  I'm Jordan Baker, and Jordan Baker is always ahead.

What I was thinking when I saw Myrtle dead...

Why I told Nick about Tom's love affair...

I trust Nick.  I know that I have not known him my whole life, or even for a long amount of time, but I know that he is a good person and a good friend.  I thought to myself, Nick is Daisy's cousin.  I feel as though he should know, he is the closest to her.  So, that was it, I decided to tell him.  I would tell him privately, I did not want anyone else knowing.  I also thought, maybe if he knew, we could do something about it.  One person would not be enough to persuade Daisy to leave Tom.  But two, two of the closest people too her, may be affective.  Nick was her cousin, she loved and trusted him, she knew he wanted nothing but the best for her.  I was her best friend in this crazy world we live in.  I trusted her and she trusted me.  I hoped that my opinion meant something to her.  I hated seeing her hurt, and seeing her hurt by her husband was heartbreaking.  I had to do something about it.  Nick may be my b...

What I was thinking when I told Nick to schedule tea with Gatsby and invite Daisy...
