What I was thinking when I saw Myrtle dead...

As I arrived on the scene, I was absolutely shocked.  I could not believe my eyes.  Who did it?  Was it an accident?  Why did this happen?  Part of me was relieved, not because I was happy she was dead, but because Tom could not longer hurt Daisy by cheating on her.  As I turned around, people began telling me it was a yellow car the struck her.  The only yellow car that crossed my mind what the car that Daisy and Gatsby were driving on their way home.  It had to have been Gatsby, but why?  Maybe he wanted to make Tom angry, butt hat does not seem like something he would do.  I do not believe he would take things to such an extreme level.  So, what if it was Daisy, what if she was driving the car?  She may have been all shaken up from the hotel incident, and she wasn't paying attention.  What if Daisy found out about the affair, and when she saw Myrtle she was possessed by rage and could not stop herself.  The ultimate question would be, what was Tom going to do now?  He had to have suspected that it was Gatsby.  Even if it was not Gatsby, and it was Daisy, Tom would do everything in his power to take Gatsby down; he would protect Daisy.  Tom would get his perfect life back.  I guess we will all just have to wait and see what will happen.  I cannot believe this happened, it is just so unexpected.

What I was thinking when I told Nick to schedule tea with Gatsby and invite Daisy...

When Gatsby approached me at is party, I did not know what to expect; but I knew it was going to be good.  He had asked me if I would ask Nick to host a tea party and invite Daisy and him.  Gatsby knew that Nick would not know why he was asking this, but he insisted I do this for him.  So, that same night, I went up to Nick and told him what Gatsby had requested.  I did not what to expect out of Nick.  I think that Nick looks up to Gatsby and would not want to disappoint, so as I expected, Nick said yes.  He of course had a few questions to ask.  After I explained the whole scenario to him, we parted and I began to think to myself.  I did not understand why Gatsby had waited all this time to try to reconnect with Daisy.  Would Daisy even want to rekindle her love with Gatsby?  She seemed so happy with Tom.  he provided her with all the luxuries in the world.  He gave her the lifestyle she could not have with Gatsby.  They ...
